The Tarrant Area Guild of Storytellers will share spooky stories At NASH FARMS in Grapevine Texas for Halloween on Friday October 28, 2022 from sunset to moonrise. Stories will rang from rib-tickling to spine-tingling. For over two decades the Tarrant Area Guild has celebrated this Halloween tradition in Grapevine it began as "Tales by the Rails" in the 90's' and is still going strong. Scarborough Renaissance Festival celebrates its 45th season April 4May 25, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas (2511 FM 66, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas). The popular outdoor festival is open Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day Monday from 10 a.m.7 p.m.

Visitors step into a re-created 16th-century English village filled with immersive entertainment for all ages, including full-combat jousting, birds of prey exhibitions, live music and comedy, interactive performances, games of skill and human-powered rides. Mixology Mondays classes are hosted weekly at The Parlor, inside Sheraton Dallas, from 5-6pm. The cocktail featured varies weekly and reservations are required. The cost is $30/per person which does not include tax and gratuity. The interactive mixology classes are led by the hotels talented Mixologist, Adam, who has explored more than 43 countries and worked at luxury properties and bars across the world. Guests can have fun mixing a cocktail and then enjoy the delicious creation. Reservations are required.

You are invited to the Tarrant Area Guild of Storytellers monthly meeting at the Barnes and Nobles Northeast Mall in Hurst Texas 76053

Mall in Hurst Texas. Every month we meet with, and entertain the public with stories of history, culture, folklore, family, friends, and more.

Each month there is a different theme for the tellers, but for all our friends and visitors if you wish to share, you are invited and if you only want to listen we

need you guys too. Storyteller Decee Cornish we share his story, "The Emancipation Trail" to recognize June 19th. So in addition to Decee we will have our

traditional open mike'. We are open for membership, and provide training and workshops for the novice and anyone interested in learning The Art of Story.

TAGS is always looking for new venues and new audiences for storytelling. Hope to see you soon and don't forget your story!

Storyteller Decee Cornish will present "Martin Luther King the life, the legacy" at 7:00 PM to honor the Civil Rights leader and American hero. This is a family fun event presented FREE by The Tarrant Area Guild and a big, "Thank You" to Barnes and Nobles for their long time and continuing support.
